Human Target gets the green light from FOX Studios. (HitFix.com);
“Human Target” is based on the DC Comics series and focuses on a freelancer who assumes the identities of people in danger, becoming a human target. Mark Valley stars, with Jackie Earle Haley and Chi McBride in supporting roles.
JEH is on a roll, proud to be part of the Comic adaptation crowd, but I am personally concerned that if this streak continues too long JEH could suffer from one of two things
- He will be convinced he is a super hero and his underpants will become overpants*, or
- His body will actually grow super powers in an attempt to adapt to its environment.
I don’t know… What do you guys think?

If he keeps doing comic book adaptations my little nerd heart is going to keep growing like the Grinch and explode with giddyness.
If Jackie Earle Haley’s underpants become overpants everyones underpants will become overpants. This is how trends come into being.
I don’t see why Jackie Earle Haley having super powers would be cause for concern.
Comic adaptations are the hottest thing going, and one reason is because they’re attracting exceptionally talented actors like Jackie, so their quality level is at an all time high for the genre. The show sounds terrific, and how uber cool will it be to see Jackie every week? Marvelous news!! Can’t wait to watch it!
I hope Fox isn’t gonna be trigger happy with this series. But I seriously can’t wait to see it.
Now if only we knew what Jackie’s role is…

I’m pretty excited about the series, that’s for sure. Since LOST is winding down next season, I’ll need another show to watch.
